Baga Beach
Situated at the distance of 10 km west of Mapusa, Baga Beach, Goa is one of the most popular beaches in India. Baga beach is small but perfect and beautiful beach who want to be away from the hustle-bustle as it is usual on the other beaches. Baga beach is located between two more famous cousins, Colva beach on one side and Calanguate beach on the other side. In fact, Baga beach, Goa is an extension of Calanguate beach.
The combination of chirping birds overhead, the whispering of waves and the sound of flying leaves of palm trees with winds create a pleasant sound and it seems as if the Baga Beach were calling tourists to visit its fascination. The sand at Baga beach is neither white nor golden, it is brown. The groves of palm trees are very close to the water edges which create a stunning ambience for the tourists. Baga beach Goa is a nice place of tourist interest to spend some peaceful moments.
One side of Baga beach the Baga River flows down which offers an ideal alternative for the children. The Baga beach is an ideal location for beach holidays, picnic, fishing, shopping, cruising and water-sports. Some of other attractions of the Baga beach are the Baga Retreat House, Medicinal Springs at Mottant and the Club Tito’s – famous for lively nightlife.
There are a plenty of hotels and guest houses available in Baga and Calanguate which is very close to Baga. Houses can be also rented here.
